dentistry

today I went to the orthodontists and they fiddle with me teeth for a bit. My teeth started to go numb. When they started to do ex-rays and they have to stick this thing in your mouth I kept on spitting it out until they gave me a smaller one. They said I have to come back tomorrow to fill in a cavity.yes i know its not much but its the only thing worth mentioning in my day.

CARLS 18TH BDAY!1!!

So my bro went out to watch the world cup with his friends( on TV, not live) and my mom went out to shop for party stuff. When she came back me and some other people who know my brother decorated the house. When my bro came home we shouted randomly "Surprise!" or "happy Birthday!" After that, the teens went into the living room to prepare for a presentation they had to give and the kids went upstairs and watched some TV. Then I left for Chinese class. During Chinese class I got punished for not watching TV and was forced to leave late and use that time to watch some more TV. When i got back from Chinese class all the teens (and some of the parents) were playing this game kinda like 'Telephone'. I cant explain it because i have no idea how to play.

We then ate dumplings for dinner and reviewed some baby pictures of Carl. there were a couple nude pictures of him and one where he was wearing a skirt. After that, we had some cake and the little kiddies headed upstairs to watch TV ,meanwhile the teenagers ditched us and went to watch movies.:(

when i wuz thinking

yesterday, I couldn't fall asleep so I sat on the ground and sorta meditated, I guess. And I just sat there thinking for like half an hour. One of the craziest things I thought of was what in the world is the point of toes? they hold no significant value of any sort except maybe when your baby brother is sleeping on you and you can't move but your super thirsty and nobody's around to help you. you will have to use your toes to try to grab the water bottle lying a foot away from you. but other than that i see no reason why we were born with toes.

Alright, hmmmm.... let's see. OK today I woke up(as usual) and ate... well I forgot what i ate for breakfast. After my mysterious breakfast, I played 'Bejeweled Twist' on the Ipod touch. I quickly remembered about the speech due today and how i hadn't printed it out yet so I quickly attached the file to a email and sent it to my brother to print out with the heading of "URGENT!!! PLEASE PRINT". After that I played some more 'Bejeweled Twist'. At about maybe nine thirty Jeffery's mom arrived and I carpooled with him to Badminton camp. Along the way Jeff told me about this online game called 'Vantage' (I think).

After Badminton camp me, Jeffrey, Janelle( without glasses) and Daphne went to eat at Lee's Sandwiches ( Serena joined us later). There I ordered #14 ( chicken curry and bread) which I TOTALLY RECOMMEND. Also, there I purposefully bit into a incredibly SPICY pepper thinking i could handle it. I was wrong. After i had swallowed the pepper the spiciness started. I had to drink an entire Arizona Green Tea bottle AND half a bottle of V8 juice in order to sooth my tongue.

Then we all carpooled to Carl and Peter's class. We had sponge-cakes for snack that Eugene's mom brought with him! ( WHOOOH GO EUGENE'S MOM!!!!!). later, we went over to Jonathan's house( we being me, Eugene, Blair, Jonathan, Janelle, and Joy). The 2 girls did who knows what while the dudes waited for Jonathan to finish setting up the PS3. But it turns out Peter took the cable with him so we just had to settle for some good ole' fashioned 'Rock Paper Scissors' and 'Boxhead'. I then headed over to tennis class.

After tennis class, Me, Jonathan, and Jay went to the park as the adults were talking about random stuff and we played on these things that spun around forever as long as you leaned the right direction. Then I got sent home. I ate dinner and then me and my brother went shopping at valley fair where I saw like a TON of slugbugs or "Buggies" in the like 20 parking lots along the way. We finished shopping(I got shoes and pant) and then headed to Safeway where we bought some stuff for the graduation party tomorrow at my house ( YOU GUYS ARE ALL INVITED). After that we headed home and i am currently typing this at about eleven o'clock. By the way today I saw 34 SLUGBUGS!!! WHOOH ! A NEW RECORD!!!! and that's pretty much it for today.

speech about drug testing on animals

Testing drugs on animal should be allowed. My reasons are:
1. Animals do have feelings, I admit that, but what else are we going to test it on? Machines? Machines are ineffective, and expensive.
2. Most supporters of abolishing drug testing on animals state in their speech, or rather, question, how we would feel if humans and animals switched places during drug testing. How would I feel? Bad, of course, practically everyone would, but the fact is humans and animals CAN’T switch places.
3. The drug testers use the weakest and most vulnerable runts for the drug testing, who would have died anyway due to inability to hunt for itself or other natural reasons.
4. Also, most animals such as mice reproduce over 25X faster than a human, which means they can afford to lose some of the members of the family.
5. True, drugs are bad for both animals, which is exactly why we need to test them first.
6. Most people argue that if the drugs don’t work, we would have wasted a rat’s life. But think about if a drug did work and helped cure cancer or AIDS? Would it have been worth a rat’s life to save over a billion people from the disease. Both the people who currently have the disease and who normally would have gotten the disease in the future. Who knows? it might even have been you.
7. Drug testing also creates jobs. From the people who design the product to the people who actually do the testing.
8. Also, as my good friend Eugene has stated in his speech: “The humans would inject diabetes into a mouse’s stomach …etc.” but why in the world would we do that? Think about it. We already have discovered diabetes and know the symptoms.
9. A lot of people sitting down here in the audience believe in abolishing drug testing, but why do they? Is it because they truly believe in their reasons? Or is it some other reason? I used to believe in the abolishment of drug testing on animals, until I began to grow up and actually think about it. The young people here probably believe in banning of using animals as test subjects because that’s what their teachers and parents have indirectly taught them. The parents and teachers would say, don’t kill things, or during a world war II history lesson they would exclaim in anguish about the bloodshed the war caused. Indirectly leading for their students and children to get a mind set that way. An example of appealing to authority.
10. Which race in your opinion is more important? Humans or Rats? Probably humans right? Rats are annoying and they steal your food.
11. And these are the reasons why I believe testing drugs on animals should be allowed.

Today, i woke up after enduring my big brother yell at me for quite a while and changed as fast as i could. I then rushed into the kitchen like a jackrabbit(simile) and grabbed two 8 oz bottles of water. Right after that, i ran outside, stuffed my feet into my shoes, and sorta hopped all the way to Jeffrey's car, which was parked outside.

Me and Jeffrey then played a guessing game on the car, as we eagerly awaited our badminton class. We got to the badminton class and rallied a couple times, did some drills, and played a couple scrimmages. Also, before the class officially started, i saw two kids whom I had never see before playing badminton. I instantly assumed that they were some new students but after a while they left, and i realized they must have been in the class before us, which is really weird since our class starts at ten and last two hours, which means they might have come here at eight and finished at ten, but that's pretty unlikely.

After badminton, Jeffry's mom started to send me home, but after calling my brother and realizing that I didn't have a place to eat, I went with them to pick up Janelle( the new Janelle) and we headed to Fresh Choice and ate there. After me and Jeffrey finished eating we went to the escalator in the mall just next door and we walked the opposite direction then designed to get some exercise. After about 20 minutes of doing that, me and Jeffery were both incredibly exhausted, like i actually did feel like laying down on a bench and just nap for a while. After that i headed to your class. After your class, I went to Peter's house and we played 'Modern Warfare 2' and 'Rock Band'. Then I went to Tennis class and borrowed a racket since I never had chance to get it and played some 'Rallyball' and goofed up. Yup, that pretty much sums it up. Oh yeah, after Tennis me, Jonathan, and Joy got sent to my house and we got locked out for a while until we finally managed to push the key in. they stayed till nine.( this is me editing my post)

OUTLINE

IDEA FOR CLASS- mock presidential or government campaign.( different note)

I. Intro
A. I believe that drug testing should be allowed

B. in is beneficial to humans

II. Body

A. Animals have feelings, BUT If we don’t test the drugs, risk of human injury chance increases by over 25%

B. Which race, in your opinion is more important? Mice and rats? Or Humans? Probably humans right?

C. Drug testing on animals creates jobs. For the people who actually do the testing to the people who actually invent the product, this would be a life-changing topic. If a prohibition was put in place, many lives would be affected and harmed.

III. Conclusion
A. And this is why I believe drug testing on animals should be allowed.

WAIT!!! I am seeing other ppl’s outlines and they are doing totally different things so if this is wrong I probably didn’t understand the homework that you assigned. And yes I no my formatting is all messed up and that I don’t have a B for the third paragraph
